Great sound and value
Strengths: SD card slot - can add additional upto 2gb sd card SRS WOW and 3D sound blows away the competition small, light, has great sound and a great screen, and great battery life
Weakness: None so far
I would highly recommend this player to anyone who is looking to buy an MP3 player. It's small, light, has great sound and a great screen, and great battery life. It's so easy to use. It comes with an armband and cover which is great while exercising. The player's SRS WOW and 3D sound blows away the competition. One big plus is the SD card slot. You can use upto a 2GB card in this player and can...

Sansa e100 1GB MP3 Player vs. Ultra MP3 Player
Strengths: Great Player at a good price. Has nice features; FM radio, ID3 display, LCD and EQ selections as well as SRS 3D, WOW, FOCUS and True Bass. Good sound quality, compact size. Can be used as a flash drive, and can use SD cards to increase the capacity. Uses
Weakness: Cannot make own play lists directly. No FM voice recorder (only a problem if you use that sort of thing).
This is the second mp3 player I have owned. The last mp3 player I owned was an Ultra MP3 Player (SKU: ULT31576) that I reviewed on here Jun 11, 2005. So therefore, I will be comparing it to that in reference to that player. It has surprisingly good sound quality. Even with the bundled earphones, the sound quality is better than the ultra and gets decently loud without any noticeable distortion....

Great little gizmo
Strengths: Easy to use, light, great sound quality. Expandable, FM tuner.
Weakness: USB cable provided is too short
I researched MP3 players starting last week and was originally looking at the Ipod Nano, but after reading about all the problems with the LCD screen on the Ipod I started looking elsewhere. I found this review section and read about the great sound quality of this unit as well as all the great features, expansion slots, FM tuner, free Rhapsody software etc. Then I saw the price, I got mine at...

Sort of Frustrating.
Strengths: Small, cheap ($90), FM radio, accepted firmware update.
Weakness: No bookmark or pause for PlaysForSure protected audio books. Restarts book from beginning when turned off.
I bought this because it supports the Microsoft "PlaysForSure" security that my local library uses for their audio books. The problem is that it only bookmarks ebooks from Audible.com which has it's own proprietary audio format. You have to pay to join Audible and then pay to buy their books. Our library ebooks are free but in Microsoft format. I spent two weeks exchanging email with SanDisk...

I have had my Sansa MP3 player for...
Strengths: Sound, SD Card slot, AAA batteries, can use as flash drive, many play modes, equalizer, SRS. Downloadable books and music.
Weakness: Cannot make own play lists
I have had my Sansa MP3 player for about 2 months and used it extensively while in the hospital (surgeon let me bring it into the operating room) and while recuperating. It is possible to play songs by artist, album, genre, year, New Music, and Spoken Word - either alphabetically or in random order. The default mode is to play songs alphabetically. It will play downloaded books and music (have...
