Strengths: The idea is ingenious,one button task control of multiple electronics, interactive online programing of the remote and your unique set up,that you save and can change. Help feature on the remote
Weakness: It doesn't always work as smoothly in my case because of the way my TV has to change the AV screens. the remote itself doesn't feel as substantially built.
I permanently put away 7 out of my 8 remotes. I still like my TiVo remote, but I could just as well use the Harmone remote. I love it. I wish the remote felt heavier in my hand, and the center "OK" button seemed less prone to falling apart. But I may be nittpicking. It's worth the money, especially with rebates.

One of the few universal remotes...
Strengths: Ease of setup, help button, strength of IR signal
Weakness: Default setup for some components requires user to go through menus to get to controls (eg - PIP controls for tv)
One of the few universal remotes that can truly control everything. Setup was a breeze, simply connecting to the logitech website and answering a few questions on how my components are connected and how I use them for different activities (eg watch tv, watch dvd, etc). Was up and running within a couple...
Strengths: Easily replaces multiple remotes. High WAF.
Weakness: Web-based configuration can be clunky at times.
Was up and running within a couple hours of starting the web-based programming task. Currently replaced 6 remotes with this one.
Got to 95% of what I wanted very quickly and easily. The last 5% will take a little more effort. Have heard that it uses batteries relatively quickly (but it replaced 6 remotes!).

Strengths: This was very easy to set up. Directions are easy to follow. Works great with TIVO.
Weakness: The buttons could be a little bigger
This is the first remote that I have found that I could get to work with all of my components. Not only that, it worked on the first try. It was easy to set up. No more programming macros into a remote or going through the teaching mode that never seems to work anyway. This remote is awesome.

Weakness: Price pretty high $140's....More consumers would buy if cost would go down.
Remote is user friendly and it seems that anyone can use this remote with know problem. With one touch of a button you can turn on a movie or just watch TV without having your usual 3 remotes or more. I will enjoy this for years......
