good starter package
Strengths: Auto-Cal, Portable Audio Input, Easy Installation
Weakness: Number of Inputs, Attached Wire Speakers
I picked up this system for a total of $85 after coupons and certificates from Best Buy and was very very pleased with it. The next cheapest system there was around $220, and not much of a step up at all. Great system to start out with. It is currently hooked up in my room, where I sit about 5' away from the tv, so the sound is not a problem at all.

Great Budget Home Theatre System
Strengths: Auto calibration, Easy to Install, Affordable, Good Sound, AM/FM tuners, Big OSD
Weakness: Not a lot of inputs, Wires attached to speakers
This is a really nice system for under $200. It's very easy to install. It comes with a mic that you plug-in to auto calibrate the system. You just place the mic where you would be sitting and it will calibrate. Comes with a digital audio coaxial cable. I have that connected to my DVD. Sounds very nice. Great sounds
Strengths: Auto Calibaration, Easy setup, good quality, the best for money can buy

Very good. Has superb sound quality. For a not too complicated home theater and for starter this is a good buy. Its got good base too. Has all the new technologies around currently.

Sounds good !
Strengths: Price and performance.
Weakness: Don't expect floor shaking output.
Installed this in my bedroom and the sound is just perfect. As what have been stated, the wires are attached but used RCA cable extension. Watching movies in 5.1 with privacy is priceless. Sound calibration was easy.
Got this while on sale so I was very happy.

Great 1st Home Theatre system
Strengths: Great sound on 5.1 feeds like FM and DVD's
Weakness: regular tv just stereo
For the price this was one of the best xmas presents I purchased. The microphone speaker tuning system is excellent for a first timer to set up this system. Sound is above average for value priced systems
