Afordable large screen TV and portable too
Strengths: Lightweight; excellent contrast and lumen output; easy to set up and adjust configuration; price for features
Weakness: Difficult to focus; remote is not back lighted;
I bought the EP749 to mainly watch DVDs on our "date nights" replacing an outdated LP335. The set up is easy to adjust or just to select the presets. It has awesome contrast and works lovely on a 70" x 70" screen in an average living room (unit is only 12 feet back from screen.) Comes with an easy to use remote and standard cabling. I added a HDMI to DVI cable and run our DVD through at 720p...
