Olevia 327V HDTV Monitor
Strengths: Good picture, good sound
Weakness: Wish speakers were on bottom, some menu options are difficulty to find. Can't program my Cable Box remote to the TV so must adjust sound from Olevia remote. The off LED is way too bright.
TV has nice appearance easy to set up. Some have complained about the remote not working or some functions not working I didn't have that problem it works fine. Should the remote not work a call to Olevia should get a new one quickly. I have not been able to program a universal remote to the TV. The cable company remote lists codes for the Olevia but it will not control the sound. The price value...

Olevia 327V Silver 27in
Strengths: Picture quality, construction, features
Weakness: Speakers
TV was rated very high on CR. I must agree from the others I've seen. Picture quality, contruction and features are fabulous.
Speakers are a bit weak...however, my apartment has built in surround sound, so once I plugged into that it was fine.
Overall, I really like the set and would get another Olevia but much larger.

Amazing TV For The Price!!
Strengths: beautiful picture; easy to configure/connect; attractive; lightweight; economical
Weakness: bright blue light when TV is "off" (bad for the bedroom); must turn on master button on back of TV to turn on; no tuner
I got this TV for $299 from Fry's and it is probably the best purchase I have made all year. This TV is perfect for the bedroom and has wonderful audio/video. It is very attractive and is light enough to set on top of a DVD Player or TIVO box. The bright blue light that illuminates when the TV is off is very distracting for the bedroom when you are trying to sleep, but a small piece of electrical...

Excellent set / quite satisfied
Strengths: nice looking set/great picture/no adjustments needed/easy setup
Weakness: stupid brite blue lite on power button that lites up the house when set is off/ menu could be easier to read and use
great set at a low price. dont let the low price fool you.
picture holds its own compared to my living room sony set.
easy ability to connect to laptop and view movies or games on tv monitor. Olevia puts a very brite blue lite on power switch that shines forward throughout the room and also shines through the back of tv grid against the wall. very annoying.
