Firefly is great and fun
Strengths: Humor, comaradarie, variety, lightheartedness, and just plain fun.
Weakness: Horrible placement on Fox kept people from watching and so it was cancelled. SciFi may take this and run. I HOPE.
My wife generally dislikes scifi (I still married her) and she really likes Firefly.
However, I am a big scifi fan and a friend told me of this show and I'm HOOKED. Firefly is just as good or even better than the new Battlestar Gallactica. I mean this wholly and fully. Different style of show, but just as good.

a great show that died an untimely death... then rose again!
Strengths: great writing great characters science fiction, action, humor, hot chicks, and a little something for ladies too...
Weakness: got cancelled (STOOPID fox).
BUT it lives again in the new movie "serenity" coming in late september. watch for the trailers in theaters and on the 'net. and buy this dvd box set - you will like it. or rent it (netflix has it) and watch it. just be sure to see it to be ready for the movie.
